WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 74-208 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 74-86 <br />AND ESTABLISHING COUNTY OF AL~4EDA PROCE- <br />DURE FOR FEDERAL AID URBAN SYSTEM PROGRAM <br />IN THE PLEASANTON URBAN AREA <br /> <br />the Congress of the United States has in the Federal <br />Aid Urban Highway Act of 1970 declared it to be in <br />the national interest that Federal funds be expended <br />for highway projects on the Federal Aid Urban System; <br />and <br />the Legislature of the State of California has enact- <br />ed Chapter 201 of the Statutes of 1971 by which <br />Federal funds may be made available for use on or in <br />conjunction with county highways, city streets and <br />state highways in urbanized areas in accordance with <br />the intent of the Federal Highway Act; and <br />the Congress of the United States has in the Federal <br />Aid Highway Act of 1973 declared it to be in the na- <br />tional interest that Federal funds be expended for <br />highway projects on the Federal Aid Urban System and <br />transit projects in the urbanized area and urban <br />areas in Alameda County; and <br />the California Department of Transportation has re- <br />quired that each urbanized and urban area must have <br />a cooperative process to produce a 3-year program <br /> <br />identifying local projects, <br />regional highway projects, <br />projects; and <br />the cooperative process shall involve the <br />county, state and transit agencies; and <br /> <br />transit projects and <br />including State highway <br /> <br />city, <br /> <br /> <br />
