WHEREAS, on April 28, 1975, the City Council adopted Resolution <br /> No. 75-89, whereby the City Council determined that the <br /> preliminary grant amount and conditions proposed by the <br /> State in relation to the proposed expansion of the <br /> V.C.S.D. sewage treatment plant would not be sufficient <br /> to serve the needs of the City of Pleasanton and, thus, <br /> authorized the staff to apply to the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board, San Francisco Bay Area, for <br /> discharge standards for alternative 5-b (a copy of <br /> said resolution is attached hereto as Exhibit C and <br /> incorporated herein by reference); and <br />WHEREAS, Pacific Environmental Laboratory on behalf of Kennedy <br /> <br /> Engineers and the City of Pleasanton has prepared an <br /> amendment to the draft of the environmental impact <br /> report for the Pleasanton Water Quality Control Pro- <br /> gram; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City Council to evaluate the <br /> environmental impact reports and to certify that they <br /> comprise the final environmental impact report as re- <br /> quired by the provisions of the Guidelines and Proced- <br /> ures for the Review of Projects in the City of Pleas- <br /> anton (said guidelines having been adopted in compliance <br /> with and consistent with the guidelines promulgated <br /> by the Secretary for Resources); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to certification of the final environmental <br /> impact report, the consideration of the information <br /> contained therein, a Notice of Determination must be <br /> filed with the County Clerk of Alameda County. <br /> <br />NOW~ THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Certifies that the Pleasanton Water Quality Control <br /> <br />Program~ draft environmental impact report and amendments thereto <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
