City Council as recommended projects for funding under the Safer <br /> <br />Road Demonstration Program of the Highway Safety Act of 1973. <br /> <br />Modify existing storm water inlet grates within the <br />street area to provide for bicycle safety. <br /> <br />2. Upgrade railroad advance warning signs. <br /> <br />3. Upgrade street name signs to current City Standards. <br /> <br />Replace longitudinal ditch with pipe along northside <br />of Bernal Avenue. <br /> <br />The details of each project are more specifically set forth in <br /> <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to transmit a copy of this <br /> <br />resolution to the County of Alameda for further processing of <br /> <br />the above recommended projects for funding under the Safer Roads <br /> <br />Demonstration Program. <br /> <br />Section 3.
