the recreational vehicle storage yard; and

WHEREAS, the City Council obtained legal advice from the City
Attorney regarding its ability to relocate the vehicle
storage yard or to effect any modifications to its presenz
design at its present site; and

WHEREAS, subsequent to the close of the public hearing, the City

Council deliberated upon the information presented to it;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Denies the appeal of Mrs. Terri Jordan of a decision of
the Planning Commission that the site immediately North-
east of the intersection of Maywood Drive and Stonedale
Drive is proper for a recreational vehicle storage yard
and that certain minor modifications to the storage yard
are in substantial conformance with PUD-69-5 on the
grounds that the site is in conformance with the final
map filed on said development and that the builder has
obtained necessary building permits and made certain
improvements to give him a vested right with respect to

the location of said recreational vehicle storage yard.

Section 2. The City Council recommends that Stoneson Development
Corporation make the following modifications to the
recreational vehicle storage yard in order to minimize
its impact as much as possible upon adjacent residential
area, said modifications to consist of the following:

(1) That the driveway entrance be relocated to the north
end of the yard.

(2) That the hose bib be removed and the wash rack and
drain be camouflaged and rendered useless in the
most appropriate manner.

(3) That the setback between the sidewalk and the stor-,
age yard be ten (10) feet wide.

(4) That the storage yard be bordered on the west by a
six (6) foot high fence meeting City standards and
tO be constructed of decorative masonry block
fencing, and on the south side by an eight (8) foot
high fence meeting Fire Department standards and
constructed, if possible, of the same material as
the six foot high fence on the west.

-2-
