~'qOLUTION NO. 77-180 <br />~ge 3. <br /> <br />growth rate and allow the best utilization of trans- <br />portation, shopping and existing City services and <br />facilities. The proposed Residential Allocation Pro- <br />gram has been written and is anticipated to be adopted <br />prior to January 1, 1978~ and <br /> <br />Implement the measures listed in Attachment E which <br />designate projects of a continuing nature and projects <br />which will be studied for a determination of their <br />feasibility when conditions warrant such study. <br /> <br />Section 3. The City of Pleasanton resolves to: <br /> <br />Continue to participate and cooperate as a member of <br />the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) in the <br />development of an Air Quality Maintenance Plan for the <br />San Francisco Bay Region; <br /> <br />Make reasonable efforts consistent with the resources <br />and goals of this City to insure that the adopted Air <br />Quality Maintenance Plan provides adequate means for <br />mitigating any adverse impacts on air quality result- <br />ing from the proposed project; and <br /> <br />Upon adoption of the Air Quality Maintenance Plan by <br />ABAG, and approval by the State and EPA, the City shall <br />render reasonalbe assistance for implementation of <br />said plan. <br /> <br />Section 4. Authorizes the City's LAVWMAmembers to provide to the <br /> LAVWMA Board of Directors a copy of this resolution and <br /> inform the Board, as well as State and Federal Agencies, of <br /> the City's position. <br /> <br />Section 5. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON JUNE 27, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Herlihy <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Alan B.
