Authority shall monitor the outfall effluent discharge and receiving ~'aters <br />in accordance with procedures and requirements of the appropriate regulatory <br />agencies. <br /> <br /> Authority and Agency shall have a mutual right of inspection and auditing <br />of. financial operations and maintenance records, monitoring and metering <br />equipment for purposes, including but not limited to, calibrating the equipPent, <br />taking samples, and reviewing records; provided, however, that each party to <br />this Agreement shall exercise said right through the respective Managers of the <br />respective parties and in a reasonable manner. Authority and Agency shall <br />provide to each other monthly reports on the quantity and quality of effluent <br />which is discharged by each party and its constituent agencies into Authority's <br />project. <br /> <br /> Agency shall report to Authority as soon as possible,' but within 24 hours, <br />any violation of the wastewater discharge requirements of paragraph 9. A <br />written statement of the probable cause and the nature and time schedule for <br />corrective action being taken or to be taken shall be furnished to Authority <br />a~ soon as practicable. <br /> <br /> 8. Ownership of Wastewater: The Agency's wastewater shall be owned by <br />Agency until said wastewater is discharged into the Authority's interceptor <br />system and at said time Authority shall obtain title to said wastewater. Noth- <br />ing in this agreement sha~l prevent Agency from undertaking a reclamation <br />project(s) for usage of treated wastewater in Agency's jurisdiction and not <br />utilizing all of the capacity belonging to Agency in Authority's project. <br /> <br /> 9. Wastewater Discharge Requirements: Agency shall discharge its waste- <br />water into the Authority's facilities such that its treated wastewater complies <br />with all National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit <br /> <br /> <br />
