CONTRACT FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES <br /> <br />23rd day of August, <br /> <br />entered into <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, this <br /> <br />and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation, <br />after referred to as "City") and DAVID M. DE VOE (hereinafter <br />to as "Appraiser"). <br /> <br /> 'WHEREAS, City is comtemplating the construction of a interceptor <br />sewer line from its Sunol Plant to Valley Community Services District <br />Plant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has selected a project which will require the ac- <br />quisition of right-of-way from private parties; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City desires to retain the services of a qualified ap- <br /> <br />1977, by <br /> <br /> (herein- <br /> <br /> referred <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appraiser represents that he is qualified to perform <br />the appraisal services required by City as set forth herein. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the faithful performance of <br />the terms, conditions and covenants set forth herein, the parties <br />hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. EMPLOYMENT OF APPRAISER. City agrees to and hereby does <br />retain and employ Appraiser to perform professional condemnation ap- <br />praisal services for City's interceptor sewer line and appurtenances <br />to be located west of City's Sunol sewage treatment plant to Bernal <br />Avenue, west along Bernal Avenue to 1-680, north along the easterly <br />side of 1-680 to the V.C.S.D. sewage treatment plant. The location <br />of the aforementioned line of appurentenances are more particularly <br />delineated in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />praiser to assist City in the acquisition of the required right-of- <br />way; and <br /> <br /> <br />
