CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-228 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING RETENTION OF DAVID DeVOE AS APPRAISER FOR <br />INTERCEPTOR PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />City is contemplating the construction of an interceptor <br />sewer line from its Sunol Plant to Valley Community <br />Services District Plant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a project has been selected which will require the <br /> acquisition of right-of-way from private parties; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is desired to retain the services of a qualified <br />appraiser to assist the City in the acquisition of the <br />required right-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />David DeVoe has informed City of his qualifications to <br />perform the appraisal services required and his interest <br />in acquiring the job; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of August 23, 1977, <br />received and reviewed an agreement, attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference, regarding the rentention <br />of David DeVoe as appraiser to perform appraisal services <br />for City's interceptor sewer line. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the rentention of David DeVoe as appraiser for <br /> properties to be acquired for the Pleasanton Interceptor <br /> Project. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />The fee is not to exceed $40,000. <br /> <br />Section 3. Authorizes the Mayor to execute said contract. <br /> <br />Section 4.
