Section 6. Except as provided herein to the contrary the terms and <br /> provisions of this resolution shall not effect the appli- <br /> cability of the Personnel Rules of the City of Pleasanton <br /> to confidential and management employees who are not exempt <br /> from said rules. <br /> <br />Section 7. The wages and fringe benefits set forth in this resolution <br /> shall be the only compensation for the positions set forth <br /> in Exhibits A and B hereto and there shall be no right to <br /> receive benefits contained in any Memoranda of Understanding <br /> with the City's recognized employee organizations which are <br /> not included in the wages and benefits set forth herein. <br /> It is the City Council's intention that there shall be mutual <br /> exclusivity between the compensation plans set forth in <br /> this resolution and the items contained in negotiated Memo- <br /> randa of Understanding, except as one is specifically <br /> included in the other. <br /> <br />Section 8. <br /> clause, or phrase of this resolution or any part thereof is <br /> for any reason held to be unconstitutional, such decision <br /> shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of <br /> this resolution or any part thereof. The City Council hereby <br /> declares that it would have passed each section, subsection, <br /> subdivision, paragraph, sentence, clause, or phrase thereof, <br /> irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, sub- <br /> sections, subdivisions, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, or <br /> phrases be declared unconstitutional. <br /> <br />If any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, sentence, <br /> <br />Section 9.
