the maximum amount shall be increased to Seventy-two Dollars <br />($72.00) per month. Notwithstanding the foregoing the <br />maximum contribution to provide the aforesaid coverage for <br />Messrs. Cherry and Cracraft shall be Seventy-two Dollars <br />and Thirty-two Cqnts ($72.32) per month and for Mr~ Withers the <br />maximum contribution shall be Ninety-eight Dollars and Thirty- <br />seven Cents ($98.37) per month. <br /> <br />Effective September 1, 1977, the City shall contribute an <br />amount necessary to provide dental care benefits under the <br />City's present Bankers Life Nebraska Plan for the individual <br />employee and eligible dependents; provided, however, that in <br />no event shall the City be obligated to contribute an amount in <br />excess of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per month per employee to <br />provide the aforesaid coverage. Effective January 1, 1978 <br />the maximum amount shall be increased to Nineteen Dollars <br />(19.00) per month per employee. <br /> <br />Effective April 1, 1978, the uniform allowance shall be increased <br />to One Hundred Thirty Dollars ($130.00) per year, such allowance <br />to be paid in one payment in April. <br /> <br />The City shall request PERS to conduct an actuarial survey for <br />the purpose of determining the level of contributions necessary <br />to provide a "2% at 50" retirement plan and any other available <br />options the City desires studied. The cost of the actuarial <br />survey shall be borne by the City. A copy of such survey shall <br />be made available to the Union no later than July 1, 1978, <br />without obligation upon the City to take action based upon <br />the results of this survey. <br /> <br />The City shall implement a voluntary payroll deduction option <br />for those employees who wish to join the City and County <br />Employees Credit Union for the purposes of transacting <br />business with such City and County Employees Credit Union. <br /> <br />Chapter XI Attendan6e and Leaves, Section 1101 Annual Vacation <br />Leave of the Personnel Rules shall be amended to provide the <br />following vacation entitlement per year to be effective on <br />the employee's anniversary date of employment which occurs on <br />or after July 1, 1977. <br /> <br />Length of Service <br /> <br />Vacation Entitlement <br /> <br />1 to 5 years 5 shifts <br />6 to 15 years 7 shifts <br />16 or more years 10 shifts <br /> <br />Vacations shall be taken in full shift increments. <br /> <br />An Agreement in Settlement of Litigation, IAFF, Local 1974 v. <br />City of Pleasanton, 1 Civil 36270, has been negotiated and agreed <br />to by the parties and shall be incorporated herein as part of <br />this Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> <br />It is mutually recommended that the modifications shown above be <br />made applicable on the dates indicated and, in conjunction with <br />the existing unmodified rules, regulations and ordinances of the <br />City, shall constitute the wages, hours and working conditions for <br />those employees represented by Pleasanton Firefighters I.A.F.F. <br />Local 1974 for the period July 1~ 1977 through March 3]., 1979. <br /> <br /> / <br /> <br />PLEASANTON FIREFIGHTERS <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> <br />
