B. Determining successful completion of the educational level <br />for which educational incentive pay is to be received. <br /> <br />IV. Enrollment Procedures <br /> <br />Employees wishing to enroll in the Educational Incentive Plan must do <br />the following: <br /> <br /> A. Not later than 45 days prior to enrolling in a junior college, <br />college or university, make written application to the Education Stand- <br />ards Committee in order that the Committee may determine the employee's <br />eligibility to enroll in the Educational Incentive Plan. The Educa- <br />tional Standards Committee shall inform the employee in writing of their <br />determination not later than 30 days following their receipt of the em- <br />ployee's request to enroll in the Educational Incentive Pay Plan. <br /> <br /> B. The written application submitted to the Educational Stand- <br />ards Committee must include the following: <br /> <br /> 1. A description of the educational level to be pursued. <br /> <br /> 2. Employee's pursuing a specific number of college credits <br /> <br /> as set forth in this plan in lieu of a BS or BA degree <br /> must indicate a major field of study and submit a list <br /> of courses to be taken in that major field. <br /> <br /> C. Prior to enrollment in a junior college, college, or univer- <br />sity, the employee must have received written approval from the Edu- <br />cational Standards Committee as to his/her eligibility to enroll in <br />the Educational Incentive Plan. <br /> <br />NOTE: No employee shall receive educational incentive pay for any <br />educational level attained unless he/she has received advanced written <br />approval from the Educational Standards Committee as set forth in this <br />section. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
