RESOLUTION NO. 79-47 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />To select as the Railroad Track Consolidation Project <br />the Western Pacific Alignment with the specific elements, <br />modifications and mitigation measures set forth in <br />Exhibit 1 (attached hereto) entitled "Railroad Track <br />Consolidation Project Proposal," including the connec- <br />tion of Del Valle Parkway to Main Street. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />That the City Council in adopting this project declares <br />and adopts the Environmental Impact Findings and State- <br />ment of Overriding Considerations for both the track <br />consolidation proposal and the extension of the Del <br />Valle Parkway. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />That the City Manager is authorized to submit an appli- <br />cation to the PUC for an authorization to proceed with <br />track consolidation. <br /> <br />Section 4.
