The existence and completeness of the planned <br />thoroughfares which would be used by the hypo- <br />thetical driver will form the basis for the allo- <br />cation of points. <br /> <br />Energy Conservation <br /> <br />0 to 5 points <br /> <br />-Extent to which energy conservation measures are incorpo- <br />rated into the project according to the following schedule: <br /> <br />For Single-Family Projects <br />.at least 125 P.G.&E. points- 1 point <br />.over 150 P.G.&Eo points - 2 points <br />.inclusion of aesthetically de- <br />signed solar assisted <br />hot water heating units meeting <br /> 70% of the anticipated energy <br /> need for hot water require- <br /> ments - 3 points <br /> <br />For Multiple Projects <br />.at least 115 P.G.&E.- 1 point <br />.over 140 P.G.&E. - 2 points <br />.inclusion of aesthetically <br /> designed solar assisted <br /> hot water heating units <br /> meeting 70% of the anticipat- <br /> ed energy need for hot water <br /> requirements - 3 points <br /> <br />Note: <br /> <br />The P.G.&E. Premium Energy Conservation Home Schedule point <br />equivalents shall be used. Only those energy <br />conservation measures found on the PoG.&E. schedule <br />shall be allowed. RAP points gained under in- <br />stallation of solar assisted systems shall be added <br />to any RAP points the proposal would be eligible <br />for under the P.G.&E. sub-sections. Thus, a <br />development containing energy conservation mea- <br />sures totalling 125 P.G.&E. points and solar <br />heating shall receive 1 point plus 3 points, or -- <br />4 RAP points. <br /> <br />Air Quality <br /> <br />0 to 3 points <br /> <br />-Extent to which the project incorporates the following <br />features and/or meets the following criteria aimed at <br />reducing the vehicle miles traveled by and dependence <br />on automobiles: <br /> <br />project is located within 1/2 mile <br />of an existing shopping center which <br />includes a grocery store <br /> <br />1 point <br /> <br />project contains design features <br />conducive to the utilization of <br />bicycles (ego lockable bicycle <br />storage areas in apartment com- <br />plexes, bicycle paths in single- <br />family subdivisions, etc.) <br /> <br />1 point <br /> <br />project is located within 1/2 mile <br />of the BART bus route; or, if beyond <br />1/2 mile, the developer provides a <br />van/shuttle bus to the homeowners' <br />association (or the City) to be used <br />for local shuttle bus service to <br />BART and for local transit <br /> <br />1 point <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
