ARTICLE I: E~GINEER'S SERVICES <br /> <br /> The ENGINEER shall perform any services which he is <br />directed to perform by written TASK ORDER, given to him by <br />the CLIENT, a sample copy of which is attached hereto as <br />EXHIBIT "A" and incorporated herein by this reference. Each <br />TASK ORDER shall outline the scope of services to be performed, <br />state the time within which the work is to be completed, <br />delineate any special conditions, state the fee or the <br />method of determining the fee, and authorize the ENGINEER to <br />proceed. <br /> <br />ARTICLE II: ENGINEER'S FEE <br /> <br /> For services performed under TASK ORDER, the ENGINEER <br />shall be compensated either on the basis of Salary Cost <br />times a Multiplier, plus Direct Non-Salary Expense, as <br />defined in Paragraph A of this ARTICLE; or on a basis as <br />negotiatedin accordance with Paragraph B of this ARTICLE. <br />The basis of compensation shall be as delineated in each <br />TASK ORDER. <br /> <br /> A. SALARY COST TIMES A MULTIPLIER, PLUS DIRECT NON- <br /> <br />SALARY EXPENSE: That as used herein, the following terms <br />shall have the following meanings: <br /> <br /> 1. The ENGINEER'S Salary Costs are defined as <br /> the amount of the wages or salaries of the ENGINEER'S <br /> employees working on the PROJECT, plus a percentage <br /> allowance of such wages or salaries to cover all taxes, <br /> payments, and premiums measured by or applicable to <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
