Multiplier shall be in the amount of 2.35. <br /> <br /> 3. Direct Non-Salary Expense shall mean all <br /> <br /> · expenses incurred by the ENGINEER for materials, supplies, <br /> subsistence, transportation, outside services, and <br /> equipment rental expenses incurred by the ENGINEER <br /> incidental to and reasonably necessary for the perfor- <br /> mance of the work. Direct Non-Salary Expense shall be <br /> charged in accordance with the ENGINEER'S "LIST OF <br /> CHARGES" applicable at the time of invoicing. <br /> <br /> B. NEGOTIATED FEE: Such ENGINEER'S fees shall be <br />negotiated by the CLIENT and the ENGINEER in general accor- <br />dance with "A Guide for the Engagement of Engineering Service," <br />published as "A.S.C.E. - Manuals and Reports on Engineering <br />Practice - No. 45," latest edition. <br /> <br />ARTICLE III: PAYMENT FOR SERVICES <br /> <br /> For services performed on a salary cost times a multi- <br />plier basis, the CLIENT agrees that he shall pay for the <br />services performed by the ENGINEER a~ the work progresses, <br />based upon work completed.
