Recommendation No. 15. Denies changing the area <br />bounded by Martin Avenue, the Arroyo Mocho, Oakland <br />Avenue and the Southern Pacific railroad tracks from <br />"Medium Density Residential" to "Low Density Resi- <br />dential." <br /> <br />Recormnendation No. 18. Denies changing the 4 acre <br />site at the northeast corner of Fairlands Drive and <br />West Las Positas Boulevard from "Medium Density <br />Residential" to "High Density Residential." <br /> <br />Recommendation No. 19. Denies changing the 184 acre <br />Staples Ranch property located on the south side of <br />1-580 east of Pleasanton Meadows from "General and <br />Limited Industrial" to "Agriculture and Grazing." <br /> <br />c. Modifies the following Committee recommendations: <br /> <br />Recommendation No. 13. Modifies the proposed 37-1/2 <br />acre change to the following: <br /> <br />Change a 27-1/2 acre site bounded roughly by Bernal <br />Avenue extension, Sunol Boulevard, the City's Corpora- <br />tion Yard and the Western Pacific railroad right-of-way <br />from "Public and Institutional" and "General and <br />Limited Industrial" to "High Density Residential." <br /> <br />Recommendation No. 16. Modifies the recommended <br />change to "Low Density Residential" to the following: <br /> <br />Eliminate the two school sites in the area bounded <br />by Mohr, Martin, Oakland Avenue and Arroyo Mocho <br />and make these 10 and 20 acre sites "Medium Density <br />Residential." <br /> <br />Deferred action on Recommendations 6, 7, 8 and 9, <br />choosing to act on the area covered by these as part <br />of GP-81-1, a comprehensive change as indicated in <br />Section 2 of this resolution below. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the application of Prudential Insurance <br /> Company to change the General Plan land use designation <br /> of an approximately 573 acre site bounded by Hopyard <br /> Road on the west, Arroyo Mocho on the south, Southern <br /> Pacific railroad tracks on the east and a line approxi- <br /> mately 1400 feet south of Highway 1-580 on the north <br /> from "General and Limited Industrial" and "Commercial <br /> and Offices" to "Industrial, Commercial and Offices," <br /> subject to the conditions listed on Exhibit A, attached <br /> hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> <br />
