As part of this task, Contractor will (as requested) <br />present an orientation briefing on the study for members of the <br />Department, City officials, etc. <br /> 2. Collect and Analyze Data <br /> In this task, Contractor will collect and analyze <br />data required to define the current and projected future demand <br />for fire protection and EMS services; as well as, describe the <br />current fire protection EMS system. Examples of the types <br />of information to be documented within this effort include: <br /> current and projected (5 years) land use within <br /> the city, potential annexations, and surrounding <br /> contract areas <br /> plans for developments <br /> current and projected demographic data; permanent, <br /> as well as, day/night and seasonal fluctuations <br /> (e.g., fair) <br /> current and anticipated rises; <br /> location, fire flow, etc. <br /> brush fire risks <br /> current experience; incidents, <br /> mutual aid formal/informal <br /> water system <br /> working relationships between Fire Department <br /> <br />and other municipal services <br /> <br />Fire Department operations <br /> organization <br /> personnel <br /> ancillary services <br /> facilities <br /> equipment <br /> recruitment/training <br /> plan check <br /> code enforcement <br /> public education <br /> pre-fire attack planning <br /> fire cause investigation <br /> <br />type, size, occupancy, <br /> <br />response times, etc. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
