1 SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT FOR PLAQUES ON LIONS WAYSIDE BANDSTAND THIS AGREEMENT FOR ACCEPTANCE OF THE DONATION OF PLAQUES FOR DISPLAY ON THE LIONS WAYSIDE BANDSTAND (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on this 9th day of April, 2025 by the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). and the Pleasanton Lions Club, ("Donor"), whose address is P.O. Box 266-94566, Pleasanton, CA 94566, and telephone number is (925) 872-1433. RECITALS WHEREAS, the purpose of the City’s Sponsorship Policy is to: a. Meet community needs b. Protect public interests in the short and long-term c. Provide opportunities that are open and accessible to all residents d. Meet the City’s vision, mission, values, and goals as outlined in the City’s ONE Pleasanton strategic plan; and WHEREAS, the Donor has submitted a proposal to sell donor plaques, further described in Section 2 below, to be installed on the front of the Lions Wayside Bandstand located at _4401 First Street, Pleasanton, CA 94566 (the “Bandstand”) and donate the proceeds to the City to offset the construction cost of the bandstand. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and conditions in this Agreement, City and Donor agree as follows: 1. Donation and Acceptance. The Donor hereby conveys by donation plaques and its legal title to the City, and the City hereby accepts the donation of the plaques under the terms, qualifications, and conditions as set forth in this Agreement. 2. Donor Duties. a. Donor shall purchase and provide up to 128 bronze plaques, with black finish color and sand texture - 1/4” thickness with 1/16” raised border and lettering. The sizes and number of the plaques are to be as follows: i. No more than 87 plaques 3”x8” in size, ii. No more than 40 plaques 6”x8” in size, and iii. No more than one (1) plaque 14”x8” in size. b.
