Mayor Pico indicated he voted no because of his promise not to approve any subdivision <br />of property west of Foothill Road. <br /> <br />Item 6c <br />Authorization for Review of Permit Conditions and Updating of Cost Estimates and <br />Economic Feasibility Analysis for the Happy Valley Golf Course (SR 01:103) <br /> <br /> Randall A. Lum presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala urged staff to proceed with all possible haste on this project. <br /> <br /> There were no speakers on this item. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to authorize the City Manager <br />to approve consultant contracts for an amount up to $145,565 for review of permit conditions <br />and updating of cost estimates and economic feasibility analysis for the Happy Valley Golf <br />Course; and directing staff to seek payment of $81,165 from New Cities Development Group for <br />permit related work associated with this update process. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers -Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Michelotti <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6d <br /> <br />Adoption of City Arts Facility Plan and acceptance of City Arts Marketing Study <br />(SR 01:107) <br /> <br /> This item was discussed earlier in the meeting. <br /> <br />Item 6e <br />Consideration of the Housing Element Update Process (SR 01:099 <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis suggested that each Councilmember make one appointment to the task force. <br />She was concerned about the balance between Commissioners and citizens on the task force. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift felt that was still a workable number for the task force. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell suggested one member from the Commissions. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked when the information from the 2000 census would be available. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 13 <br />Minutes <br /> <br />05/08/01 <br /> <br /> <br />
