283 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that <br />Ordinance No. 754, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />amending Section 2-16.07 of Title II (Zoning and Development), Chapter 9 (Water), <br />Article 1 (Regulation of Water System and Water Service Fees), relating to water <br />rates and charges, be introducedo <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilwoman LeClaire, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br />Resolution No. 75-27, amending fees and charges resolution regarding water rates, <br />be adopted~ <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that <br />Resolution Now 75-28, authorizing a major water study, to include peak load prices <br />and a reversal of schedules, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Council request that this rate increase be explained to the customer as being <br />the result of Zone 7 water rate increases. <br /> <br />Review and select questions for inclusion in Special Census <br /> Mr. Bowling presented his report dated February 7, 1975, regarding this matter. <br /> <br />After discussion, it was decided to use the ten questions as submitted, deleting <br />No. 6 and replace with a question as to whether the interviewer would support a bond <br />issue for a new sewer plan which would increase property taxes by .... , that question <br />No. 3 include "Other", and that job classification reflect no sex differentation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker stated these questions would be sent to Sacramento for printing, but <br />could be revised if necessary in the next week or so. <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr. Campbell presented the presentation made by Mayor Pro Tem Kinney at the <br />Regional Water Quality Control Board public hearing on 3anuary 31, 1975. <br /> <br /> Councilman Kinney commented on the meeting, and instructed staff to request <br />written comments from the Regional Board regarding the Basin Plan. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Adoption of Weed Abatement Resolutions. and set public hearins for 2-24-75 <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report dated February 4, 1975, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br />Resolution No. 75-29, declaring that weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of <br />certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton constitute public <br />nuisances and that the same shall be abated, and setting a public hearing in <br />regard to the same to be held in the Pleasanton Justice Court Chambers, at 30 <br />West Angela Street, Pleasanton, at 8:00 P.M., on February 24, 1975, be adopted. <br /> <br /> 4. 2/10/75 <br /> <br /> <br />
