Councilmember Mohr stated she favored the City providing fire protection services <br /> to Komandorski Village without any fee charged to them. Councilmember Kephart stated <br /> he felt this would set a bad precedent. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Council- <br />member Kephart, that Resolution No. 81-282, to provide fire protection services to <br />Komandorski Village until February 1, 1982, at a rate of $400.00 per month, and to <br />negotiate further at that time determined on the outcome of the Dublin incorporation <br />vote on November 3, 1981, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmembers Mohr and Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Fire Protection Services to Unincorporated Areas <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Director of Finance (SR 81:285) dated <br />August 11, 1981, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Resolution No. 81-283, extending the existing agreement between the City and the <br />County for fire service to the three service areas (Remen Tract, Castlewood~ and <br />Happy Valley), for one year to June 30, 1982, for a minimum payment of $61,568, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kepahrt, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Approval of Procedures for Sale of Surplus Prop.er.ty at the Northeast Corner ~f <br />Peters Avenue and Rose Avenue <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 81:289) dated August 18, 1981, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Kephart abstained from participation on this item due to Conflict <br />of Interest. <br /> <br /> Ms. Joyce Getty, 925 Kottinger and downtown business person, stated she felt <br />this property should not be sold until further review and consideration of a down- <br />town parking assessment district. She reiterated the need for additional parking <br />space, and urged Council to reconsider their decision to sell this property as <br />surplus at this time. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Council- <br />member Butler, not to sell the small parcel of Rand at Rose and Peters Avenues as <br /> <br />recommendation of use p t <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINED:Councilmember Kephart <br /> <br />Report on Request for Annexation - Approximately 375 acres at the Intersection of <br />E1 Charro Road and 1-580 (Reynolds C.
