197 <br /> <br />Board, said Board to be composed of two members from the Planning <br />Commission (selected by the Planning Commissioners) and of three <br />state licensed design professionals, whose purpose will be to <br />review applications currently being reviewed by the Design Review <br />Board of the Planning Commission, as well as custom homes and <br />model homes for subidivisions. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Brandes and Tarver <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions presented at <br />this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />item 12a <br />Request to Connect to City Water System and Approval of <br />Preannexation Aqreement for Joel (59 acres) and Lehane (120 acres) <br />located on the West Side of Foothill Road <br /> Mr. Elliott presented his report (SR 89:192) dated May 2, <br />1989, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Joel stated he would like to keep his existing water well <br />as a back-up in case of water interruption. He stated he will <br />work with staff to be sure there is no mixing of his water with <br />City water. <br /> <br /> Mr. Elliott stated he is willing to work with the applicant <br />on this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 89-205, authorizing the <br />connection of 5466 (Lehane) and 5470 (Joel) Foothill Road to the <br />City water system, provided all connection work is done to the <br />satisfaction of the City Engineer and all costs are borne by the <br />property owners; and requiring the owners to sign a Water Facility <br />and Preannexation Agreement for future annexation; and allowing <br />Mr. Joel to keep his existing well subject to approval by the <br />Director of Public Works, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Brandes and Tarver <br /> <br />item 12b <br />Request to Connect to City Water and Sewer Systems and Approval of <br />Preannexation Agreement for Jehovah's Witnesses Pleasanton <br />Conqregation (Dublin Road) <br /> Mr. Elliott presented his report (SR 89:193) dated May 2, <br />1989, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. John Lewis, representing the Jehovah's Witnesses <br />Pleasanton Congregation, stated there are condos nearby and lines <br /> <br /> - 12 - 5-2-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
