9]

Mr. Ed Churka, property owner at 405 Oak Lane, stated that
the Oak Lane Sewer Development District extended the sewer line
from the pump station to Oak Lane and that property owners can
hook up to this line for a fee. He mentioned that the issue
regarding the Currin agreement involves the hook up fee, which
costs more than $6,000 per home for Castlewood area homeowners but
only about $2,600 per home for the Currin property owners.

Mr. Mert Van Dreser, President of Castlewood Property Owners
Association, stated that he was not opposed to the Currin
development; however, he had some questions and would like to look
over some documents on the matter.

Mr. Butler commented that this issue needs to be resolved and
that he was in favor of continuing the item as requested by the
County.

It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that
the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved:

a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 2/6/90.

b. Proclaim March 1990 as "ARC Mental Retardation Month."

c. Proclaim March 19-25, 1990 as "American Cancer Society
Daffodil Days."

d. Proclaim April 1990 as "Pleasanton Earthquake
Preparedness Month."

e. Commend Larry Boldrini and Judy Bricker for their
induction to the California Youth Soccer Association
Hall of Fame.

f. Adoption of Resolution No. 90-34, appointing Deborah
Acosta as City Manager. (SR 90:82)

g. Assignment of the City's Agreement with Deltasystems of
Autometric, Inc. to Genasys II, Inc. (SR 90:59)

h. Review of the bids and award of the contract for the
Operations Service Center to Ralph Larsen & Son, Inc.
for a bid of $6,111,000.00 (base bid plus Alternate No.
1, Interior Finish of Police Evidence Storage Building;
Alternate No. 2, Emergency Diesel Generator; and
Alternate No. 3, Police Firing Range) and approval of
the Consultant Agreements with CH2M Hill, California,
Inc. for Construction Management Services; DMA
Associates, Inc. for Review of Electrical Services; and
Carlos A.
