Once an item has been <br />listed on the agenda, it cannot be removed by another Council member <br />without the consent of the Council member who originally requeated it. <br /> <br />Agenda Posting, <br /> <br />The City Clerk shall post, in a loc. axion that ia freely accessible to members of the <br />public, an agenda at leaat 72 houra before any Council.meeting. Agendaa will be <br />posted at City Hall offices at 200 Old Bernal Avenue and at 123 Main Stre~ <br />The agenda shall specify the time and location of the meeting and contain a bfid <br />description of each item of businesa to be transacted or discuaaed at the meeting. <br /> <br />Summaries of proposed and adopted ordinances shall be published in a local <br />newspaper. <br /> <br />Delivery of Agenda Material to Council <br /> <br />City staff shall deliver all agenda mamrial, including ali staff reportz and extfibita, <br />to tho City Council no latex than 8:00 p.m. on the Friday preceding a City <br />Council meeting. In the event that staff mamriata related to a particulax ageada <br />item are not delivered prior to the above stated time, the City Council shall <br />continue the item until the next regularly scheduled City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Minutes of Proceedin~ <br /> <br />An account of all public proceedings of the City Council ~laall be recorded by the <br />City Clerk and entered into official minute booka of the Council. These minutes <br />shall be available to the public, and will be official records following approval by <br />the Council. <br /> <br />preparation of Minutes <br /> <br />To ensure uniformity of minute entries and to save time composing the <br />record, all minutes will be prepared with one standardized format. <br /> <br />Minutes will include a statement of all Council actions, including motions <br />made and vote thereon. Communication by members of the public ~hall <br />include name, address, subject matmr, and disposition by Council. <br /> <br />Omi or written presentations by members of thc Council or the public will <br />be paraphrased unless specifimlly requested to be included in the minutes <br />by reference. Written presen~ons of fewer than 500 words will be <br />included in the minutes in their entirety on specific requeat of the presenter <br />and approval of the Council.
