Fire <br /> <br />51. The applicants shall install an automatic fire sprinkler system for the building and trash <br /> enclosure. The sprinkler system shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of <br /> building permits and shall be subject to review and approval by the Fire Chief and <br /> Director of Building Inspection prior to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />52. Fire alarm and detection systems are required subject to the review and approval by the <br /> Fire Chief. Detailed plans showing the facility layout, including ceiling heights, office <br /> areas, storage plans and heights, etc. shall be submitted by the applicants to the Fire Chief <br /> prior to installation of said systems. <br /> <br />53. The applicants shall post address numerals on the buildings so as to be plainly visible <br /> from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours. Tenant <br /> spaces shall be identified as determined by the City. <br /> <br />54. The development shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Chapter 20.24 <br /> of the Pleasanton Municipal Code). <br /> <br />55. The site shall be kept flee of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection. <br /> <br />56. Approval for the number, type and location of fire hydrants shall be subject to the <br /> approval of the Fire Chief and the City Engineer. <br /> <br />57. The applicants shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface roads, fire <br /> hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow shall be installed <br /> and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. When alternate methods of <br /> protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or <br /> modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted, in writing, <br /> to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative fire protection methods shall not start without <br /> the approval of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br /> Police <br /> <br /> 58. If required by the Police Department, the building(s) shall be equipped with an alarm <br /> system, the type to be approved by the Police Department; this system shall be installed <br /> prior to occupancy of the building. <br /> <br /> Engineering <br /> <br /> 59. The applicants shall submit a final grading and drainage plan prepared by a licensed civil <br /> engineer depicting all final grades and on-site drainage control measures. This plan shall <br /> be subject to the review and approval of the City Engineer, Planning Director, and the <br /> Director of Building Inspection prior to the issuance of any building permits. <br /> <br /> <br />
