ROBERTA MUNDIE <br /> PRINCIPAL <br /> <br /> EDUCATION PROJECTS <br /> <br /> Radcliffe College/Harvard University, EIR on the Sand Creek Specific Plan ~ CEQA analysis of a <br /> AB cum laude, 1966 plan that would allow for 4,000 housing units, a 100+ acre <br /> business park, retail and office uses, and an 18-hole golf <br /> Harvard University, MCP course on 2,700 acres at the southern edge of Antioch. <br /> (Master of City Planning), 1970 Important issues included traffic, vegetation and wildlife, <br /> hazardous materials (mine seepage), visual impacts, and <br /> University of San Francisco, MAW impacts on the adjacent regional park. <br /> (Master of Arts in Writing), 1998 EIR on Retail/Cinema Project ~ contributions to the envi- <br /> ronmental impact report prepared for Redwood City on the <br /> proposal to redevelop a pivotal downtown site with <br /> specialty retail and a multiplex cinema Traffic, visual <br /> PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS resources, historic resources, and a variety of other topics <br /> were addressed in this comprehensive assessment. The <br />American Institute ofCertifiedPlanners (AICP) EIR was accompanied by a M&A's analysis of the <br />The Urban Land Institute economic and fiscal impacts of the project. <br />American Planning Association (APA) <br />California Planning Roundtable EIR on Urban Limit Line Modifications } analysis of major <br />Association of Enviromnental Professionals (AEP) redeaignation of land from urban to non-urban use by a <br /> General Plan Amendment. The study focused on the <br /> potential for displacement: whether the modifications <br /> would shifr housing development from Contra Costa <br /> AWARDS County to other, more rural, areas. This EIR withstood a <br /> legal challenge mounted by a group of developers and two <br />Sacramento Section, California Chapter APA, cities; the challenge was defeated in the trial court, and the <br /> 1992 Award for plaunmg Implementation decision was sustained on appeal. <br /> (for Sacramento Central City Housing Strategy) EIR on Specific Plan } Specific Plan for Gateway Valley, a <br /> 1,005-acre site proposed for development as a 978-aere <br />California Chapter APA, 1987 Award mixed use project (including a conference center, golf <br /> for Comprehensive plaunmg coarse and housing) and public open space.
