Trail and Pathway Resurfacing Program (Commission Duty 4 / ONE Pleasanton <br />Strategic Plan Goal: Investing in Our Environment, Strategies 1 & 7). <br />This item will include an overview of the staff analysis of the condition of the city <br />owned and/or maintained trails to determine which trails are in the greatest need of <br />repair/resurfacing based on trail conditions, trail priorities as identified in the Trails <br />Master Plan, property ownership and a cost/benefit analysis of the trail resurfacing <br />and would give the Commission an opportunity to provide input on the trails. <br /> <br />Ongoing/Annual Items: <br />1. Callippe Preserve Rate Updates <br /> <br /> <br />EQUITY AND SUSTAINABILITY <br />The workplan process aligns funding and staff resources in a way that provides the greatest <br />benefit to the community. <br /> <br />OUTREACH <br />This item was discussed at the July 10, 2025 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting. <br /> <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />This action advances ONE Pleasanton Citywide Strategic Plan goal: Optimizing Our <br />Organization, strategy 4 – “Evaluate the organization’s structure of community engagement <br />opportunities (such as commissions and committees and citizen’s academy) to improve <br />information sharing, optimize staff efficiency, and provide greater service to the community.” <br /> <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />When individual items from the workplan come before the commission, financial impacts <br />related to that item will be included in each report.
