Authorize the City Manager to enter into a fourth amendment to the Professional <br />Services Agreement with Mark Thomas & Company, Inc., for an additional $999,954, for a new <br />total contract amount of $3,995,644, to complete 100 percent design for Phase 2 of the West <br />Las Positas Multimodal Reconstruction Project (Owens Drive to Santa Rita Road, CIP No. <br />26514) <br />Recommendation: Authorize the City Manager to issue the Fourth Amendment to the <br />Professional Services Agreement with Mark Thomas & Company, Inc., for an additional <br />$999,954, for a new total contract amount of $3,995,644, to complete 100 percent <br />design for Phase 2 of the West Las Positas Multimodal Reconstruction Project (Owens <br />Drive to Santa Rita Road, CIP No. 26514). <br /> <br />Mayor Balch opened public comment. There being no speakers, Mayor Balch closed <br />the public comment. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Eicher/Nibert to approve the item as recommended. Motion <br />passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Mayor Balch <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Councilmember Testa <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br />Mayor Balch requested an update about the trees on Main Street. City Manager <br />Beaudin provided a verbal update about overall tree maintenance, removal, and <br />replacement plan. <br />Mayor Balch requested an update on the pension strategy discussion.
