Pav Item No. 5 (13-A) & 21-13): Install HSS Post in Drilled Pier <br />The contract unit price paid each (EA) installed HSS Post shall include full <br />compensation for all work involved in providing galvanized material, drilling holes <br />for bolts and anchors, installing polyethylene tube caps, and installing the post in <br />drilled piers. Work also includes temporary support bracing of existing soundwall <br />panels prior to and for the full duration of work at each panel and restoration of any <br />areas disturbed b temporary support installation or removal. <br />Pay Item No. 6 (14-A & 22-13): 16" Diameter Drilled Pier <br />The contract unit price paid per linear foot (LF) of drilled pier shall include full <br />compensation for all work involved in drilling piers, disposing of spoils, cleaning of <br />holes, and pouring concrete at each pier location. <br />Pay Item No. 7 (15-A & 23-13): Miscellaneous Metal <br />The contract unit price paid per pound (LB) of miscellaneous metal shall include full <br />compensation for all work involved furnishing and installing bolts and expansion <br />anchors as shown on the contract plans. This is a Final Pay Item as defined in Section <br />1-1.07, "Definitions" of the State Standard Specifications. <br />Pay Item No. 8 (16-A & 24-13): Install Redwood Cladding <br />The contract unit price paid per each (EA) location of installed redwood cladding <br />shall include include full compensation for all work involved in furnishing and <br />installing redwood timber cladding as shown on the contract plans including mock- <br />up, blocking, and fasteners. <br />ECTION 2. TRAFFIC CONTROL <br />2-0 IA Public Convenience and Safety <br />FWiF%A <br />Upon completion of each day's work, the contractor shall be responsible for leaving areas <br />open to the public free of hazards and shall provide all necessary temporary signs, warning <br />devices, plating of trenches and barricades at no additional cost to the city.
