I . _ <br />PLEASANTON, <br />Park Trail & Pathway <br />Resurfacing Program <br />Project Number: FY546 <br />Department: Public Works - Engineering <br />Project Phase: Construction <br />Total Budget: N/A - Annual Project <br />CIP Rating Score: 90 <br />Project Description: <br />This program project involves resurfacing or replac- <br />ing various city park and property pathways and <br />trails identified as priorities in the Trails Master Plan <br />or by staff. The work will include crack sealing, spot <br />repairs or new trail surface. The following trails are <br />scheduled for updates over the next 5 years: 1. Sutter <br />Gate Park, 2. Marilyn Murphy Kane Trail, 3. Iron Horse <br />Trail, 4. Arroyo Mocho Trail (east of Santa Rita Rd), 5. <br />Bernal Community Park oak woodland trail. <br />Project Funding <br />Project Justification: <br />Replacement and/or repair work is necessary to <br />maintain the sustainability and usability of pathways <br />and trails for the safe use of residents. These trails <br />and paths have been identified for repair or replace- <br />ment in the Trails Master Plan, by residents or staff, <br />or due to storm damage and/or age.
