MINI-TRAFFIC CIRCLE/ROUNDABOUT: Utilities shall be routed around the mini-traffic <br />circles and roundabout on Busch Road to be a minimum of 8 feet clear of the center of <br />the circle and shall include planting and a minimum of one 24 -inch-box-sized tree. <br />Project Specific Condition <br />Trees <br /> <br />130. TREE REPORT: The applicant shall comply with the recommendations of the tree report <br />prepared by Todd McNeil, McNeil Arboriculture Consultants, LLC, dated July 9, 2024. No <br />tree trimming or pruning other than that specified in the tree report shall occur. An <br />updated arborist report shall be provided based on the construction plans. The applicant <br />shall arrange for the Project Arborist to conduct a field inspection prior to building permit <br />issuance to ensure all recommendations have been properly implemented. T he Project <br />Arborist shall certify in writing all recommendations have been followed. Project Specific <br />Condition <br /> <br />131. TREE REMOVAL MITIGATION: Any trees approved to be removed by the City shall <br />have its full value paid into the City’s Urban Forestry Fund pursuant to requirements set <br />forth in the Pleasanton Municipal Code section 17.16.050. A credit for replanting trees <br />shall be as follows: <br />a. $250 credit for a 15-gallon size replacement tree; <br />b. $500 credit for a 24-inch box size replacement tree; and <br />c. $1,000 credit for a 36-inch box size replacement tree. <br />Project Specific Condition <br /> <br />132. TREE DISPOSITION PLAN: Provide a tree disposition plan that shows trees to remain, <br />trees to be removed, the value of each tree, the total value of the trees to remain and be <br />protected, and the total value of trees to be removed. The plan shall also include the tree <br />protection recommendations from the arborist report. Project Specific Condition <br /> <br />133. STREET TREES: Street trees varieties shall be installed as shown in the Approved <br />Plans. Varieties shall be reviewed and agreed upon by the City Landscape Architect and <br />Applicant prior to issuance of the building permit. Project Specific Condition <br /> <br />134. TREE BOND: Any tree affected by the Project shall be addressed in accordance with the <br />applicable requirements per the Municipal Code. The applicant shall post cash, letter of <br />credit, or other security satisfactory to the Director of Public Works/City Engineer, for all <br />Heritage Trees and any other significant tree as deemed by the City Landscape Architect <br />in accordance with Pleasanton Municipal Code section 17.16.050. This bond or security <br />will be for the total value of the tree(s), up to a maximum of $100,000, and shall be held <br />for a minimum of 1 year following acceptance of public improvements or completion of <br />construction, whichever is later, and shall be forfeited if the trees are destroyed or <br />substantially damaged. An arborist shall be onsite during any tree work (i.e. root pruning, <br />trimming, setting up tree protection, etc.).
