GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS: The City’s Geographic Information Systems <br />(GIS) staff publishes digital maps that enable first responders to efficiently navigate to <br />locations where calls for service have been requested. The maps are also shared with <br />agencies and departments that provide other critical services to residents, such as mail <br />delivery. To keep these maps current, the City requires as-built plan or map information <br />to be submitted by the applicant in a format that integrates with ArcGIS by ESRI. The <br />“Digital Submittal Requirements” are available from the City’s GIS webpage. (Address <br />this condition prior to acceptance of improvements.) <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT – 925-454-2361 <br /> <br />The Fire Prevention Bureau reviews building/civil drawings for conceptual on -site fire mains and <br />fire hydrant locations only. Plan check comments and approval DO NOT include: 1.) Installation <br />of the on-site fire mains and fire hydrants. Specific installation drawings submitted by the <br />licensed underground fire protection contractor shall be submitted to the Fire Prevention Bureau <br />for approval; and 2.) Backflow prevention or connections to the public water mains. <br /> <br />98. EVA Between LOTS 30 and 31: The required EVA between Lots 30 and 31 shall have an <br />all-weather surface rated for 80,000 lb gross vehicle weight and curb cuts at both ends. <br />Project Specific Condition <br /> <br />99. FIRE HAZARDS: The project developer shall keep the site free of fire hazards from the <br />start of lumber construction until the final inspection. <br /> <br />100. FIRE CODE: All construction shall conform to the requirements of the 2022 Pleasanton <br />Fire Code and local ordinances. All required permits shall be obtained prior to work <br />commencement. <br /> <br />101. SITE SAFETY: Site safety during construction shall be in accordance with Fire Code <br />chapter 33. <br /> <br />102. FIRE SPRINKLERS: Automatic fire sprinklers shall be installed in all occupancies in <br />accordance with the 2022 Pleasanton Building, Fire, and Residential Codes with local <br />amendments and ordinances. <br /> <br />103. EMERGENCY RESPONDER RADIO: Emergency responder radio coverage shall be <br />provided in accordance with section 510 of the Fire Code. <br /> <br />104. FIRE PROTECTION FACILITIES: Prior to any construction framing, the applicant shall <br />provide adequate fire protection facilities, including, but not limited to a water supply and <br />water flow in conformance to the City's Fire Department Standards able to suppr ess a <br />major fire. <br /> <br />105. WATER FLOW AND CONTROL VALVES: All fire sprinkler system water flow and control <br />valves shall be complete and serviceable prior to final inspection.
