Page 3 of 3 <br />EQUITY AND SUSTAINABILITY <br />This item aligns with the City's equity and sustainability goals by supporting environmentally <br />beneficial efforts throughout the county to improve waste diversion and recycling with a <br />substantial portion of the funds allocated to school districts and non-profits in disadvantaged <br />communities throughout Alameda County. <br /> <br />OUTREACH <br />No outreach was conducted, as this item is a routine matter of City business. <br /> <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />This action is aligned with the City's ONE Pleasanton Strategic Plan goal of Investing in Our <br />Environment, which includes a focus on environmental stewardship. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no financial impact to the City associated with this action. The funding source for the <br />EAB grant recipients is the Altamont Settlement Agreement Education Account. Alameda <br />County will release the funds following approval from NCRA, the Cities of Pleasanton and <br />Livermore, and the Alameda County Board of Supervisors.
