City Council Minutes Page 6 of 7 January 21, 2025 <br />At 10:35 p.m. by majority consensus, the City Council agreed to proceed with the <br />meeting and hear item 19 on the agenda. <br />19.Accept Downtown Pleasanton Property and Business Improvement District Feasibility <br />Report and Allocate up to $70,000 to Implement the PBID Formation Process for <br />Downtown Pleasanton <br />Recommendation: Accept Downtown Pleasanton Property and Business Improvement <br />District Feasibility Report and Allocate up to $70,000 to Implement the PBID Formation <br />Process for Downtown Pleasanton. <br />Presentation by Lisa Adamos, Economic Development Manager and Kelly (Civitas). <br />Mayor Balch opened public comment. The following individuals provided comment: <br />Bruce T., Mike Madden, Gene Finch. <br />Mayor Balch closed the public comment. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Testa/Gaidos to postpone the approval of the item for one year <br />in order to allow the Pleasanton Downtown Association (PDA), the new PDA Director <br />and the business and property owners to have further discussions and a proposal to the <br />City, with a status update to be presented at a Council meeting in the next six to nine <br />months. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />7.Public Hearing: Hold a public hearing and adopt a resolution approving amendments <br />to the Master Fee Schedule increasing or adding new fees for Special Event and <br />Support Services Fees, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Standby Services Fees, <br />Stormwater Facility Inspection Fees, Pleasanton Public Library Fines and Fees, and <br />Co-Sponsored Group Use of City Fields Fees <br />Item continued. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Balch/Gaidos to continue the item to the next regular City <br />Council meeting. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br />By majority consensus, Councilmember Eicher requested an update on the <br />unincorporated area of the Remen tract. <br />Page 10 of 749
