a. After reviewed plans are returned to the CITY a minimum of three working days <br /> are required by CITY staff to approve and process plans for permit issuance, <br /> and; <br /> b. Additional Building and Safety Division counter staff time may be required if all <br /> required information is not submitted by the applicant and/ or; <br /> c. Other CITY divisions or departments may not have completed their separate plan <br /> review and; <br /> d. No building permits will be issued unless and until all CITY Department or <br /> Divisions have completed their separate plan reviews. <br /> CONSULTANT shall fax one copy of all correction lists and final plan review notices to <br /> the CITY as stated in this Agreement. <br /> WORK IN ADDITION TO PLAN REVIEW <br /> 1. Code Enforcement. <br /> When requested and under the direction of the Chief Building Official, CONSULTANT <br /> shall enforce the City Codes by inspection and when required investigation of complaints <br /> regarding sub-standard building conditions and when necessary, prepare cases for <br /> citation hearings, criminal proceedings in municipal court, and/or civil abatement <br /> proceedings. Fees for such services shall be paid on a time and material basis at the <br /> hourly rate as assigned for normal plan review work. <br /> 2. Emergency Preparedness. <br /> Under the direction of the Chief Building Official or other authorized representative of the <br /> CITY, the CONSULTANT will assist the City of Pleasanton in emergency preparedness, <br /> building damage assessment and emergency response. <br /> 3. Emergency Operations Assistance. <br /> CONSULTANT will maintain current skills in emergency response. CONSULTANT <br /> hereby agrees to the following terms and conditions in the event of a local or regional <br /> emergency: <br /> a. Report into the CITY of Pleasanton Emergency Operation Center (EOC). <br /> Contract personnel will make a reasonable effort to report to the Chief Building <br /> Official (cell phone #925-437-4022) or the CITY of Pleasanton EOC as soon as <br /> possible following a local or regional emergency. <br /> b. The CONSULTANT shall provide contract personnel and CONSULTANT <br /> resources available for emergency response at the same hourly rates and <br /> conditions specified in this Agreement. <br /> 3 <br />
