b. "Return three complete sets of revised residential or four sets of revised <br /> commercial plans and two sets of supporting documents to the CITY of <br /> Pleasanton Building and Safety Division counter for processing." <br /> CONSULTANT approval letters must contain the following language: <br /> a. "Plans and documents attached herewith have been reviewed by (Name of <br /> CONSULTANT) and found to be in compliance with all Building, Electrical, <br /> Plumbing, Mechanical and/ or Housing Codes and related Building and Safety <br /> Division Policies." <br /> b. "Check with other CITY Divisions or Departments for their separate plan <br /> approval. A Building Permit will not be issued until all affected CITY Divisions <br /> and/ or Departments stamp and sign the final approved plan." <br /> CONSULTANT shall enter into the CITY's computer system the dates of all correction <br /> notices and the dates of plan review completion as soon thereafter as those dates are <br /> established. <br /> Field revisions delivered to CONSULTANT shall be reviewed upon receipt of the <br /> revisions. CONSULTANT shall be paid for time and material based on the rate <br /> proscribed herein. A minimum of one hour plan review time may be charged for field <br /> revisions. <br /> At the CITY'S option, the CITY may require the CONSULTANT to perform a portion or all <br /> of the plan review work at the CITY of Pleasanton's Building Inspection Division office. <br /> CONSULTANT may also be required to meet with Building Permit applicants and City <br /> Staff to resolve issues and answer questions related to existing or proposed plan review <br /> projects. Performance beyond work covered by plan review fees shall be in accordance <br /> with the hourly rates for such services as stated in this Agreement and only upon written <br /> approval of CITY. <br /> 2. "FAST TRACK" or "EXPEDITED" plan reviews. <br /> CONSULTANT is authorized by the CITY to perform "fast track" plan reviews. "Fast <br /> track" is not intended for hazardous materials or fire alarm plan reviews. CONSULTANT <br /> shall notify any "fast track" client that the "fast track" is only for Building and Safety and <br /> Livermore Pleasanton Fire plan review, and any "fast track" work involving City <br /> Engineering and/ or Planning Divisions will require at least five weeks to be approved by <br /> those Divisions. All new and revised plans must first be submitted to the Building & <br /> Safety counter to pay the normal plan review fee and to have a plan check permit <br /> number assigned. All "fast track" fees are due and payable directly to the <br /> CONSULTANT. Length of time to complete "fast track" review is between the applicant <br /> and the CONSULTANT. CONSULTANT shall transmit all reviewed plans back to the <br /> CITY for processing and final plan approval. CONSULTANT shall notify client of the <br /> following: <br /> 2 <br />
