1160) <br />Superintendent of Streets: -- Showing that work on the streets had amounted to <br />.292.44 during the month of December, 1935• <br />Town Marshal: -- Showing that he received 1 license from the Clerk amounting to <br />12.00 and 42 water bills amounting to $1022.85. That he collected water bills <br />amounting to 1779.80 and returned wa:te.r•:bills amounting to $243.05. He also <br />collected licenses amounting to $96.00 as follows: 8 licenses @ $12.00 -- $96.00. <br />He collected Milk Inspection Fees amounting to $31.40 and taxes amounting to <br />$2809.39.. <br />Treasurer: -- Showing that the Water Deposit Fund had %56.00 on hand per last <br />report and that $10.00 had been collected during the month making a total of <br />$66.00, less amount of warrants issued $5.00 leaving -61.00 in the plater <br />Deposit Fund. The Curb and Gutter Project Fund had $126.42 on hand per last report <br />and since then $5.00 had been received making a total of $131.42. The Treasurer <br />had $8962.51 on hand per last report in the General Fund and since then collections <br />had amounted to $3885.18 making a total of $12847.69, less amount of warrants <br />issued $1700.09, leaving a cash balance in the hands of the Treasurer of $11,147.60. <br />City Judge: -- Report showed that $30.00 had been collected during the month of <br />Deecce— mb_e_r, 1936. <br />Fire Chief: -- Showing report of activities during the month of December, 1935• <br />Health Officer: -- Showing report of activities for the month of December, 1935• <br />Building Inspector: -- Report showed that one electrical permit and one building <br />permit had been granted during the month. . <br />Milk Inspector: -- Showing Laboratory report on Milk Samples for December, 1935• <br />The reports were referred to the finance committee for examination and <br />report: <br />T'he following' communications were then read: <br />December 16, 1935. Dixwell L. Pierce, Secretary, State Board of Equalization, <br />referri.ng to certain information necessary to be submitted to the Board in <br />connection with resolution asking that expenditures of the %own of Pleasanton <br />be increased $2000.00 in connection with the slope wall project and street improvement. <br />December 20, 1915. City of Berkeley, advising that no sidewalks were put in as <br />a federal works project. <br />December 26& �O City of San Leandro, referring to curb and gutter but not <br />advising with reference to sidewalks. <br />January 6, 1916. T. H. Silver for Pleasanton Fire Department' advising that the <br />allottment of $120.00 for the years'1933-34-35 had not been paid and amounting to <br />$360.00. <br />January. 6, 1916. Ashton Britten, submitting-analysis for the month of December <br />and advising that expenes (professional service and operation of car and amounting <br />to $39.50) had been incurred. <br />The Clerk then read application for permission to hold a dance from the Junior <br />Chamber of Commerce. for January 18th at the I.D.E.S. Hall and signed by Cyril A. <br />Bairos and an application from the Parish Social Club for February 8th at the I.D'.E.S. <br />Hall and also signed by Cyril A. Bairos.
