PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1933 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR DOROTHY JOHNSON AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD-80-13. <br />WHEREAS, Dorothy N. Johnson has applied to rezone from the <br />R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District to the <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development-Medium Density Residential) <br />District an approximately 10 acre site located on the <br />south side of Vineyard Avenue approximately 120 feet <br />west of Pico Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on <br />January 14, 1981 at which time all pertinent documents <br />and testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done <br />pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and <br />Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of January 14, 1981 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development dated January 14, 1981 regarding the <br />aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section <br />5.4 (e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of <br />the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />- of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />
