PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1843 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR AMADOR VALLEY INVESTORS FILED <br />UNDER PUD-79-15. <br />WHEREAS, Amador Valley Investors has applied to rezone from the <br />R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) District and development plan <br />approval for a 117-lot, single-family residential subdivision <br />proposed to be built on an approximately 27 acre parcel <br />located just east of the existing terminus of West Las <br />Positas Boulevard, north of the Arroyo Mocho; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held February 13, 1980 at which time <br />all pertinent maps and testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of February 13, 1960 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report from the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development dated October 5, 1979 regarding the afore- <br />mentioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section <br />5.4 (e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which has previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of <br />the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if <br />a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and <br />what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to <br />ensure that the project will not have a significant impact <br />upon the environment. <br />
