PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1713A <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR ALBERTA BARRIOUS, FILED UNDER UP-79-O1. <br />WHEREAS, Alberta Barrious has 'applied for a conditional use permit <br />to allow the operation of a nursery school with a maximum <br />of 12 children at her single family residence located at <br />932 Riesling Drive. Zoning for the property is R-1-6500. <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held February 20, 1979 before the <br />Planning Commission, at which time all pertinent reports, <br />documents and testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the findings that: <br />A. The proposed location of the conditional use in is <br />accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district in which the site is <br />located. <br />B. The proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or maintained <br />will not be detrimental to the public health, safety <br />or welfare or be materially injurious to properties or <br />improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. The proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-79-O1, subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That approval of this use permit is granted for the <br />property located at 932 Riesling Drive only. <br />2. That the maximum number of children cared for be <br />limited to 12 at any one time. <br />3. That with regard to new children, the applicant will <br />provide her services primarily to those residing in <br />the Vintage Hills area. <br />4. That because the impact of 12 children on the neigh- <br />borhood is unknown at this time, this use permit <br />-- shall run for a period of one (1) year at which time <br />
