MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 15, 2008 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Hosterman called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and Councilmember Cook-Kallio led <br />the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Introductory Comments <br />Councilmember Cook-Kallio made the following announcements: City's annual FREE E-Waste <br />collection is scheduled to run from Friday, April 18th through Sunday, April 20th; Callippe <br />Preserve Golf Course, 8500 Clubhouse Drive, will host a `Fun Free Clinic' for youth ages 5 to 17 <br />on Saturday, April 26th; The City of Pleasanton will host an Open House for all residents on <br />Saturday, May 3 from 9 AM to 3 PM at the City's Operations Service Center. <br />Roll Call <br />Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Mayor Hosterman <br />Absent: Councilmember Thorne <br />CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br />Conference with Labor Negotiators pursuant to Government Code §54957.6: <br />Agency representatives: Nelson Fialho and Julie Yuan-Miu <br />Employee organization: Pleasanton Police Officers Association <br />Pulled form the agenda: Conference with Legal Counsel -Anticipated Litigation, <br />pursuant to Government Code §54956.9(b): <br />Arising out of the Reimbursement Agreement for Construction of a Water Tank Access <br />Road and Related Utilities between the City of Pleasanton and Threehand LP.) <br />Conference with Legal Counsel -Potential Litigation, pursuant to Government <br />Code §54956.9(a): <br />Soska v. City of Pleasanton, Alameda County Superior Court Case No. VG-06281748 <br />City Attorney Roush said the Council previously met in Closed Session at 6:00 p.m. and said <br />there was no reportable action. <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />City Manager Fialho said staff is requesting continuance of Item 18, as courtesy notices were <br />not sent out to properties within 1,000 feet of affected properties. He said the Item will be <br />continued to the May 6, 2008. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Administrative Services <br />Approved regular and special meeting minutes of April 1, 2008 <br />Karen Martens questioned statements contained in the minutes of April 1St regarding <br />postponement of the Closed Session and Councilmembers verbally clarified their <br />comments made at the meeting. <br />
