PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-88-16 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-80-2-9 D, <br />APPLICATION OF BERNAL AVENUE ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, Bernal Avenue Associates has applied for design review <br />approval to construct a four-building, approximately <br />119,580 sq. ft. office/light industrial complex to be <br />located on an approximately 9.2 acre site located <br />generally in the area bounded by Koll Center Parkway, <br />Interstate 680, and the Arroyo del Valle; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br />.District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 10, <br />1988, the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br />rezoning and development plan approval for the business <br />park complex in which this project is located. A <br />project of this nature was included in the scope of that <br />EIR. No further environmental review is necessary at <br />this time. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-80-2-9D, the <br />application of Bernal Avenue Associates for design <br />review approval to construct a four-building, <br />approximately 119,580 sq. ft. office/light industrial <br />complex to be located on an approximately 9.2 acre site <br />located generally in the area bounded by Koll Center <br />Parkway, Interstate 680, and the Arroyo del Valle <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development shall substantially conform to <br />the plans and elevations on file with the Planning <br />Department except as modified herein. <br />2. That the development shall be subject to all <br />conditions of approval of PUD-80-2-2M. <br />3. That the developer be aware that the priority for <br />occupancy in the complex shall be light industrial <br />uses and that office and alternative uses requiring <br />more intensive parking capacity shall be limited <br />- 1 - <br />
