PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1405 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />TO DEVELOP THE PROPERTY AT 386 DIVISION STREET <br />AS A MONTESSORI SCHOOL. <br />WHEREAS, Donald and Gail Washburn have submitted appli- <br />cation UP-76-6 to the Planning Commission for a conditional <br />use permit to allow development of a Montessori School at <br />386 Division Street in the RM-15 District; and <br />WHEREAS, schools in the RM-15 District are a conditional <br />use; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing <br />on the application on April 14, 1976, receiving testimony <br />for and against the planned school use and receiving the <br />staff recommendations. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton finds as follows: <br />1. That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />is in accord with the objectives of Chapter 2, <br />Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton and the purposes of the district in <br />which the site is located. <br />2. That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and the conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the <br />public health, safety, or welfare, or materially <br />injurious to the properties or improvements in <br />the vicinity. <br />3. That the proposed conditional use will comply <br />with each of the applicable provisions of Chapter 2, <br />Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />Section 2. A Conditional Use Permit application UP-76-6 <br />is approved, permitting Donald and Gail Washburn to conduct <br />a Montessori School at 386 Division Street subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That approval of UP-76-6 is contingent on the <br />approval of Case Z-76-52. <br />
