PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1395 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />APPROVING THE REQUEST OF NEW LIFE FELLOWSHIP <br />CHURCH FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. <br />WHEREAS, the application of New Life Fellowship Church for <br />~ conditional use permit to construct and operate a church and <br />related facilities on an approximately 4.05 acre site located <br />~n the southwest corner of Hopyard Road and Valley Trails Drive <br />(South), has come before this Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing <br />this application and has examined pertinent maps, drawings <br />documents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is <br />in accord with the objectives of Chapter 2, Title II <br />of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton and <br />the purposes of the district in which the site is <br />located in that: <br />1. The proposed conditional use is located in the <br />RM-15 District (Residential Multiple) which <br />conditionally permits churches and similar in- <br />stitutions. <br />2. Adequate off-street parking is provided in the <br />proposal. <br />3. The location is appropriate for a religious <br />institution. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />is in accord with the objectives of Chapter 2, Title <br />II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />and the purposes of the district in which the site <br />is located in that: <br />1. The subject property is well removed from adjacent <br />residential areas. <br />2. The use of this site as a church will have much <br />less impact on the local environment than devel- <br />opment of the site as multiple residential. <br />
