PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1079 <br />REAS, the application of Franklin Savings & Loan <br />Association for site plan, landscaping and <br />architectural review to allow the construction <br />of a Savings and Loan operation at 561 Main <br />Street, in a C-C (Community Commercial) District, <br />Pleasanton, has come before this Commission, <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Z-71-34 be approved subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That the applicant save as many of the existing <br />trees as possible. <br />2. That a revised landscaping and parking plan <br />be submitted for approval incorporating as many <br />of the existing trees as possible; that those trees <br />to be saved be as specified in the approval given <br />under V-71-7. <br />3. That all new trees be of the 25 gallon variety <br />instead of 15 gallons. <br />4. That the applicant provide an elevation of <br />the structure from Division Street showing a <br />pitched the roof over the proposed community <br />use facility compatible with a pitched roof on <br />the main structure. <br />5. That all pitched roof material be of tile. <br />6. That the applicant adhere to the archi- <br />tectural treatments indicated on the submitted <br />plan. <br />7. That all parking spaces be striped and bumper <br />stopped. <br />8. That a 2 x 4 redwood header be installed <br />where asphalt paving abuts landscaping. <br />9. That this review does not constitute review <br />of any signing whatsoever. <br />10. That any signing be applied for under <br />separate procedure. <br />11. That the applicant at this time enter into <br />an agreement with the City of Pleasanton to provide <br />additional parking to serve the development by <br />exercising discretion as follows: <br />a. Cooperate with the City and Civic <br />Organizations in establishing parking lots <br />to serve the Central Business District. <br />b. Withhold any protest to Assessment <br />Districts initiated by the City to finance <br />parking facilities for the Central Business <br />District. <br />
