<br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />September 1~, 2006 <br /> <br />Mayor Hosterman called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m., with all Councilmembers Brozosky, <br />McGovern, Sullivan and Throne present. <br /> <br />Council adjourned to closed session for the following purpose: <br /> <br />CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS - Government Code ~957.6): <br />. Agency representative: Nelson Fialho <br />Employee organization: Management & Confidential <br /> <br />CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATIORS - Pursuant to Government Code <br />~54956.8: <br />. Property: Water tank site at 1680 Vineyard Avenue <br />Agency negotiator: Nelson Fialho <br />Under negotiation: Terms and conditions of payment <br /> <br />The closed session recessed at 6:55 p.m. with no action to report. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Hosterman reconvened the meeting in open session at 7:05 <br />p.m. Councilmember Thorne led the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />Councilmember Thorne noted the following upcoming events: <br />. September 21, the Museum on Main will hold the next installment of the Ed <br />Kinney Lecture Series <br />. September 23 & 24 Heritage Days sponsored by the Pleasanton Downtown <br />Association <br />. September 23, singer Taylor Dayne will perform at the Amador Theatre <br />. October 1, the semi-finals of the San Francisco Comedy Competition will be held <br />at Amador Theatre <br />. October 1, Century House Poetry Readings <br />. October 14, the Assistances League of Amador Valley will be hosting their <br />Harvest Home Tour <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Brozosky, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />Staff indicated Item 4f; the two-way stop at Blackbird Way/Skylark Way is being <br />continued to October 3, 2006. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sullivan appealed Consent Item 4j, PUD-01-9M, and requested that it <br />go back to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Council member Sullivan requested that Item 6b, PUD-50 Ponderosa Homes, be <br />continued to October 3, 2006. <br />
