MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> April t9, 2005 <br /> <br />5:30 P.M. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel concerning potential litigation against Granite Construction <br />concerning its asphalt plant on Stanley Boulevard. <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel concerning claims of the FERMA Corporation - Callippe Preserve <br />Golf Course. <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel regarding pending litigation, Signature Properties, et al. v. <br />Pleasanton Unified School District, et al.; and Signature Properties v. City of Pleasanton (Writ of <br />Mandate). <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel regarding potential litigation with Signature Properties concerning <br />Vineyard Avenue Realignment, outstanding water bills for water delivered to the Ruby Hill subdivision and <br />the funding of additional water storage capacity. <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel concerning a claim for reimbursement to Zone 7. <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel concerning potential litigation against the Spotorno Ranch <br />Partnership and Donald and Shirley Mortensen. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Hosterman at 7:02 p.m. Mr. <br />Brozosky led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky extended congratulations to City Manager, Nelson Fialho and his wife for the birth of <br />their son. Mr. Brozosky also informed the community of the signs that have been posted at the shopping <br />center near Vineyard Avenue that displays notice of new retail shops available for leasing. Mr. Brozosky <br />noted that the E-Waste day on April 16, 2005 was a huge success with over 1500 cars bringing e-waste to <br />the Operations Service Center. Mr. Brozosky also informed the community that the City of Pleasanton will <br />have Early Voting for the June 7, 2005 Special Election and encouraged eligible high school seniors to <br />register and vote on Election day. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 04/19/05 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
