MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Mamh 15, 2005 <br /> <br /> 6:00 P.M. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel concerning claims of the FERMA Corporation - <br /> Callippe Preserve Golf Course. <br /> <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Hosterman <br /> at 7:05 p.m. Ms. McGovem led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fialho reported on Youth in Government Day, which was hosted jointly by the <br /> City and the School District. <br /> <br /> Ms. McGovern invited all Pleasanton residents to take a walk down Main Street <br />-- as the Pleasanton Arch has been restored. This project was done on time and within <br /> budget. She noted that the rededication of the Amh would be conducted at Council's <br /> next meeting. She announced vacancies on various City Commissions and Committees <br /> and encouraged community members to submit an application. The deadline to submit <br /> applications is Friday, March 25. Applications are available on the City's website or at <br /> the Office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br /> Introductions of students involved in Youth in Government Day were made. <br /> 2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Dawn Abrahamson called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmembers present were Steve Brozosky, Cindy McGovem, Matt Sullivan, and <br /> Mayor Hosterman. Staff members present were: Nelson Fialho, City Manager; Michael <br /> Roush, City Attorney; Steven Bocian, Deputy City Manager; Jerry Iserson, Director of <br /> Planning and Community Development; Jim Wolfe, Director of Parks and Community <br /> Services; Rob Wilson, Director of Public Works; Jacqui Diaz, Assistant to the City <br /> Manager; and Dave Iremonger, Financial Services Manager. <br /> <br /> 3.
