MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> January 4, 2005 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Jennifer <br />Hosterman at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brozosky welcomed everyone to the year 2005. He mentioned <br />that many exciting projects are ahead of the City, which will produce many amenities for <br />the community. Due to the rainy season, he cautioned everyone to slow down when <br />driving. <br /> <br /> Mayor Hosterman noted that information on how individuals and communities <br />can assist in the Tsunami relief efforts, by making donations or volunteering, can be <br />found through the American Red Cross at 1-800-HELP-NOW or www.redcross.orq or <br />USAID at http:l/www, usaid.oovl. Additional information can be found on the City's <br />website. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Dawn Abrahamson called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Council members present were Steve Brozosky, Cindy McGovern, Matt Sullivan, and <br />Mayor Jennifer Hosterman. Staff members present were Nelson Fialho, City Manager; <br />Jerry Iserson, Director of Planning and Community Development; Michael Roush, City <br />Attorney; Steven Bocian, Deputy City Manager; James W. Wolfe, Director of Parks and <br />Community Services; Rob Wilson, Director of Public Works; Sue Rossi, Director of <br />Finance; Pamela Ott, Economic Development Manager; and Julie Farnsworth, Director <br />of Library Services. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 4o, approval of consultant contracts for on-call surveying and computer <br /> drafting services with the firms of Kier & Wright Civil Engineers Surveyors, Inc. and <br /> Bellecci & Associates, Inc. was continued to January 18, 2005. <br /> <br /> Agenda Item 4p, waiver of Agricultural Preserve (Williamson Act) contract fees <br /> on property owned by Lonestar California within the Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific <br /> Plan, was continued to January 18, 2005. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 1 01/04/05 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
