CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel regarding pending litigation (Signature Properties, et <br />al. v. Pleasanton Unified School District et al). <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel concerning pending litigation (Signature Properties, et <br />al. v. City of Pleasanton et al. (arbitration) and Signatures Properties, et al. v. City of <br />Pleasanton, et al. (writ of mandate)) <br /> <br /> Conference with legal counsel concerning potential litigation with Signature <br />Properties concerning (a) its pro rata share of the Vineyard Avenue improvements, (b) its <br />pre rata share of the traffic improvements at Montevino and Vineyard, (c) an outstanding <br />water bill for water delivered to the Ruby Hill project, and (d) its obligation to fund additional <br />capacity in the proposed Vineyard Avenue Water Storage Tank. <br /> <br /> Conference with real property negotiator, Deborah McKeehan, regarding the <br />potential purchase of the property located at 4254 Vervais Avenue, Pleasanton, CA. <br /> <br /> Conference with real property negotiator, Deborah McKeehan, concerning terms and <br />conditions of the potential purchase of real property at 3909 Vineyard Avenue, owned by <br />Frank Auf de Maur et al. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Vice Mayor Kay Ayala <br />at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brozosky led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. He <br />discussed Proposition lA and provided an explanation as to what might occur if this <br />Proposition is not passed. He noted that there are 16 propositions on the November 2, <br />2004 General Election ballot and two local measures. He encouraged Pleasanton voters to <br />read the arguments for each of these propositions and local measures.
